Twilight...

No, the other one. The one where the vampires sparkle. It's finally on On Demand, meaning that I didn't have to shell out money to see it, so I finally did.

Oh boy. It lives up to the parodies. It really is just that awful. Vampires playing baseball. OMG! (And the vampire dad is the hottest of the lot of really cheesy vampires. Seriously). It's a big ol' ball of LOL!

It's horrible and amazing all at the same time!

There is an amazing fanvid to "All Apologies" by Nirvana that really revels in the awkwardness. I love it.

I KNOW! It's it amazing. I mean terrible. But amazing. How they manage to play it so straight I'll never know.

And two vid recs:

Sunburn. Takes the crack and shows just how disturbing it is. Gives me chills.

Sparkle Time. Just... hysterically funny.

I can never quite take Edward (and his hilarious facial expressions) seriously enough to truly be disturbed. Yeah, there's some really creepy things in the relationship, but Edward is SUCH a weenie!

Personally I think Joss W saw it and decided the possibilities for Crack!Fic cross-overs were too good to miss...

Hehe, Twilight is the ultimate mocking material.

There is no end to the mockworthyness of it and more so with every book.

I actually read the first one, because a friend recced it and up to the sparkling I really tried to convince myself it was somehow good and cleverly plotted. I figured It was a bit like dracula told from Renfield's perspective...only then I had to acknoledge, no, the author actually meant what he wrote. *shudders*

My primary knowledge of them derived from Cleolinda's summaries... which are awesome!

So I knew the ridiculousness of the plot. But nothing prepared me for the stares, the horrible dialog, and the laughable faces the 'actors' made. It was so bad it was kind of great. :)

Oh the gazing! The sparkling! The dialogue

It's a terrible film but wonderfully amusing

The dialog! The staring! The weid faces! It's truly a terrible film... and a hilariously terrible at that. I cracked up at how bad it was more than once.
