I just don't see how they can do this since Martin has not finished the series?! However, I do think it's a good series and will watch about anything with Sean Bean in it!

Part of me is very happy to hear this and part of me wonders how they will film such a complex story.

But maybe this will get Martin to hurry and publish the next book.

Huh. I still think the guy they cast as Jaime is total Eurotrash (and as such I'm horribly disappointed) and Georgiana Darcy is at least seven or eight years too old to play Daenerys, BUT - I am intrigued by Jason Momoa as Khal Drogo and I LOVE Harry Lloyd, even though he's doing the same old slimy-ass gig again as Viserys [sigh].

Anything with Dinklage and Bean can't be a total loss, though, so maybe I will watch this and reserve judgement until later (I had planned on blowing it off entirely, that's how disgusted I was by the Jaime casting).

I'm really intrigued with Jennifer Elhe as Catelyn. And I expect this will be a watershed role for Dinklage.
