Hurley in that VW microbus is very very near the top of my list, as well. It's the whole series in microcosm, right there. I think Hurley still has a big part to play. I swear he was "anointed" in The Lighthouse, no matter that Jack is the candidate now.

I'm gonna miss this show so much! I have to get all the DVDs now and re-watch everything, right from the top.

Hurley and the VW, GOD, I loved that scene!

I can think of a few other good ones off the top of my head -- Charlie's "death" at the hands of Creepy Ethan; the birth of Aaron; the finding of the Tailies; the reunion of Rose & Bernard; Smokey grabbing the injured pilot out of the cockpit; Boone and Locke finding the crashed plane; blowing open the hatch and meeting Desmond...

Ah, man, I keep thinking of more!

Thanks for these! I must confess that I quit watching back in Season 2. It got a bit repetitive and I became convinced that the writers had absolutely no clue where they were going with any of it and, well, I got bored. I have been somewhat following the events of the show on various LJs, but it was nice to actually see some of the scenes they'd talked about.

And yeah, I'm seriously considering watching the finale tonight, even though I haven't seen the previous few years. I suspect I'll be completely confused, but depending on how it goes, it's entirely possible everyone else will be too. ;-)
