Should I Stay or Should I Go?
Jun. 28th, 2010 04:42 pmI am still slogging through Cabot's Insatiable, but I've reached a point of constantly rolling my eyes at the goings on. Once, in the last ten minutes, I actually laughed at something (that wasn't intended to be funny) and had an "Oh, good grief!" reaction to something. I also find the 'romance' to be outrageously treacly and think that the vampire hunter is something of a pig. More, at this point, I've concluded that every character is a total idiot.
However, I'm also 3/4 of the way through the book so I'm practically at the end of it.

Date: 2010-06-28 10:05 pm (UTC)But it is probably the best call. I made myself finish 'The Virgin's Lover' by Philippa Gregory and boy, was that piece of bad history agenda-ridden biased piece of crap not worth my hoping it might get better. It never does.
