shipperx: (Being Human Trio)

Okay, so I've finally gotten around to seeing Season 2's season premiere (well, not really. I downloaded all of Season 1 while it was airing in the UK so this is a rewatch with the BBC America airings.)

And, may I say that my heart is still with Nina. She was trying to handle a really shitty situation as best she could. And...well... I think she's more forgiving than I would ever be.

And I had forgotten that this episode ended on such a light note. Considering how incredibly dark the season, went it's kind of odd to remember that it had such a light note as a near-ending for the season premiere.

, Daisy is still so strange and angry and creepy. As she spoke about trying to kill her daughter to cut her last tie with humanity -- yikes!

And, really, George was an ass to screw Daisy. Seriously, Nina has a lot to be incredibly pissed about. And I felt so sorry for Nina having to deal with having been turned into a werewolf, trying to protect the knowledge from George because it would destroy him, then having him screw around on her. But, then George had a rather dark journey this season, and his breakdown with Nina was moving. Finally, now Annie's crush just creeps me out. ::shudder:: Mitchell actually had it pretty good this episode though I did lol at George pointing out that part of Mitchel's problem is that for the moment, not everything is about him. Heh.

This show is just so awesome. Dark, dark, dark, but with characters you can't help but love even when they're being/doing/suffering awful stuff.

I agree that I really felt for poor Nina, and George was a gigantic ass. I really feared they were going to make me hate him in season 2.

One thing I love about all three of our housemates is that they really are so very... human. In just about every way. They screw up in monumental ways, and you just see them making the mistake and oh, so amazing to watch. Just spotlessly superior television, all around.

(One of my favorite bits this whole season was George and Mitchell whinging about their favorite show being moved in the schedule so they missed it. Human, indeed.)
