Rethinking tonight's AtS

On second viewing, I think I was too harsh on the Spike scenes. If I hadn't had so many beatings in the past with Spike (come on, we Spike fans were beaten up too, if not as egregiously as our poor hero) I wouldn't have reacted badly to it, because it WAS funny. The Spike scenes were better than I thought. (I just am still traumatized by past abuses of the poor boy).

Being a Spike fan has sometimes seemed like trying to go ten rounds with Tyson, hasn't it? I'm glad you thought his scenes were okay on second viewing. I wasn't expecting much from this ep, Spike-wise, but I'd hoped it wouldn't be too excruciating.
