Long Day *sigh*

Long day.

First, my subdivision which in their joke on me elected me President of the Homeowners Association (foisted on me might be a better description) decided to have a neighborhood garage sale. I'm not participating in the sale, but given how cash strapped the homeowner's association is at the moment, I bought the materials and made the signs out of my own pocket money. I even took the time to place the signs out. And someone promptly stole them. Having e-mailed the rest of the board about it, I still have no responses from anyone and I'm leaving town on vacation before the sale so... am I really going to have to do this all again before I leave? **head desk** I'm not even participating the flipping sale!

Second, had a deadline at work where I stayed late last night to have my part of the project done with the understanding with a co-worker, because he had to leave early last night because of his kids, that he'd come in early today to finish up his part. He called in sick. I had to finish his part too. **head desk**

At least I'm on vacation starting Friday. I need it. (And if I catch whatever he has, I'm going to be quite ticked).

Good effing grief. And no, imo you most emphatically do not have to do anything further for the garage sale. Tell the people participating to deal with it. You've done more than enough.

Where are your angel wings? I would have gotten way too angry with my co-worker. You just handled it. Wings I say:)...and yes, have a great vacation. Enjoy. And also congrats on presidency...Reading your post and I got exhausted:)
