Stuff

Okay, so I rented Inception and tried to watch it, but I got distracted doing other stuff early on and lost the plot.  I'll have to try again.  Perhaps tomorrow.

Watched Toy Story 3, and I will not lie -- I cried.   (Yes, I'm a pushover wuss).

Aww, I teared up in Toy Story 3, too. Loved the way that the toys resolved the "Toddler Room" dilemma by taking turns and rolling under the furniture to rest while other toys tagged in to relieve them. HOWLED with laughter at Ken (most of those outfits he modeled really were from Mattel's Ken wardrobe through the years, including his blue shorts & ascot and the tie-dyed hippy fringe ensemble.) And I've got this fantasy in my head wherein Bo Peep and her lamp turn up at a nearby neighborhood garage sale and are bought by the little girl and her mom, reuniting Bo and her sheep with Woody & Co.

I cry at everything, but everybody cries at Toy Story 3. The only question is which time:

a) when Andy's mom realizes he's going, or
b) when he's showing the new kid how to play with his beloved toys?

There are other possibilities, I suppose. Personally, I cry with laughter at Totally Tango Buzz with Switchy Hip Action. *dies, happy*

I cried too at the end of Toys Story 3.

I saw Inception w/ Mr W and Son. If they hadn't been there I would have left the movie from sheer boredom. Phooey

TS3 was brilliant.

Obviously - I have no cool cred.

I bawled like a baby at Toy Story 3. Andy is the same age as my oldest godson and we have seen the movies together so that added some extra bittersweetness to the mix.

I also cried at Toy Story 3. My kids were't too sure about how to handle that ;)

I cried like a little girl, yes, indeed.

I wanted to go home and find my Woody doll and hug him and put him back on my bedstand where he used to be, but then I remembered after Toy Story 2 I gave him away so "some child would play with him and he wouldn't be in storage." *sniffle*
