Have to love the fanwank. While discussing the rather wacked out Duckie fanwank that somehow, someway, despite it not making any sense, the dragon was a Bungel shout-out. (Er... right) someone came out with the counter... then the giant in the alley is clearly a shout-out to Spike's giant penis!

*thinks really hard* A Buffy saw a dragon in "The Gift" right before she died, and Angel wanted to fight this dragon, so it's totally a shoutout to how Angel wants more than anything to fight and protect his little lollipop-sucking schoolgirl! Did I get it?

Or how about the ridiculous wank that the final scene was in an alley, Buffy and Angel first met in an alley! Woohoooo she was there in spirit!

Of course that's ignoring the fact that Darla and Angel first met in an alley, and Buffy and Spike had dumpster sex in an alley, Darla killed herself and gave birth to Connor in an alley while it was raining...the list goes on.

What's with ME and alleys anyway?
