Because he offs Claudine? I guess that makes more of a problem for the later books than for this one. So far Amnesia Eric is doing his job of poor helpless kinda sexy kitten pretty well.

The Jason storyline is really icky though. Can someone burn down Hotshot soon please?

Hehe, kittens have teeth too. And in the books he offs Debby pelt, doesn't he? Or does he only hide the body? Anyway I think the addition of him being a totally cute innocent little serial killer makes it more interesting than the books, but then I always liked the show better, so I can't really speak for the book fans.

I enjoy the show better than the books as well. My experience with the books was that they are illogical and silly. Of course the show is also illogical and silly, but the show seems to be aware of it.

The Claudine thing didn't bother me, because I thought about it and Claudine was HIGHLY under-used in latter books. Um, I don't wanna go spoilery, I'll just say I think more could have been done with the character.

Since more wasn't done, the tv show could easily off her and have others do anything she will do later.

Since I have no idea what happens in the books, I don't know. Personally, I love Eric being all big eyed and innocent looking as he rips a fairy's throat out.

Totally flummoxed and bewildered Amnesia!Eric is about the cutest, funniest thing I ever did see. He's like Opie Cunningham meets Jack the Ripper meets Buck from Call of the Wild.
