Peter Dinklage, yay!
FNL, yay!
GOT, yay!
Martha Plimpton, yay!
Tim Olyphant, yay!
Connie Britton and Kyle Chandler, yay!

Also find I'm quite pleased over Matt LeBlanc.  The fight in the finale of Episodes was comedy gold.  (The cactus! And the cologne!)

On the other hand Joel McHale and  Community were robbed.

Am I right in seeing that in Drama, it's dominated by the cable networks this year?

Yeah. Basically. Even FNL aired on Comcast Direct TV(?) 6 months before NBC re-aired it. So that basically limits it to "The Good Wife."

Timothy Olyphant, Walton Goggins, and Margo Martindale all got RICHLY deserved nominations for "Justified". Now, if only the series itself had gotten nominated, I'd be a completely happy person.

Community and Fringe both screwed. How the The Office and the Big Bang Theory got nominated is beyond me.

Thank you! I've been hoping someone would post these. Lots of happy-making news here. I don't know what GoT's chances of actually winning anything are, but I'm just happy to see it get the recognition.

Thanks for posting!

Yay for FNL noms! So glad to see the show finally get a nom.

Oooh, Michelle Forbes. I haven't watched The Killing, but I love her.

Glad to see Josh Charles get a nom along with the rest of TGW cast. All their leads got noms! The supporting drama categories are stacked.

Wow not a single nom for Community? The Emmys have just completely invalidated their existence.

Well, I'll be rooting for Peter, GoT, and TAR because I don't watch any of the other shows. ;-P

Amen. It's ridiculous that formulaic (The Good Wife) or tired out (Dexter) dramas edged it out. Justified was on fire this year. And I'm so stoked about Martindale's nomination, although I think Jeremy Davies should have been nominated too.

I'm annoyed that Modern Family dominated the Comedy Best Supporting Actor category, because two of those nominations were completely undeserved (O'Neill is ghastly and Burrell is a very obvious actor). Raising Hope's Garret Dillahunt and Community's Danny Pudi (even though he was the only real standout in a lackluster second season) would have been much better choices.

I've been trying to define why Community went off the rails for me this season, and I think it's down to three things:

1) Joel McHale's Jeff Winger has turned into an unrepentant, unpleasant total asshole (which is why he didn't get a nomination)

2) The ascendancy of Alison Brie's Annie, clearly the least funny of the three lead female characters but the most "hot," so there you go (I like Brie better on Mad Men in which she plays a real person)

and

3) Harmon's insistence on over-the-top, ridiculous movie homage episodes which have nothing to do with the characters (except possibly Abed's fantasies) or community college life. They do, however, have everything to do with his compulsive vanity wanking. Sorry; "Contemporary American Poultry" and "Modern Warfare" were subtle, original and hilarious, but everything in S2, from the obvious zombie episode to the overly precious Claymation episode to the utterly ridiculous finales just scream "shot your load in S1, didn't ya?" to me. Very disappointing after such a great first season.

Good to see Pillars of the Earth get nominated too. I liked that.

Though not a single nomination for Treme? And as much as I like both Hall, Laurie and Hamm, they've been nominated for the exact same character how many years in a row now?

And LeBlanc was good in Episodes, but... lead actor? Really? Did they accidentally nominate him for Pucks?

Woops, that picture was bigger than I thought. Sorry.

Bwha! :)

And, Go Dinklage!

I have to admit that I've never watched The Good Wife. And I'm too squeamish to have ever made it through a Dexter episode.

They need to put House out to pasture. It would allow some others in.

Other than holding out hope for Noble, I never thought that Fringe would. It's a shame that Community (or Raising Hope) wasn't because The Office and 30 Rock saw it's best days ages ago. I think we should be just be grateful that Two and A Half Men wasn't nominated yet again.

I want a Dinklage win. I really want it.

Yay FNL!

I haven't watched The Killing, so I dunno. I used to love her on TNG.

I don't think that Emmy voters actually watch most of it. They just go by buzz. I mean, if they watched why in the hell would they have nominated this last season's Office, 30 Rock, or Glee?

I want Peter Dinklage to win. And I want it bad.

Definitely wish Dillahunt had gotten a supporting nod. He's awesome.

They also should've retired The Office, 30 Rock, and most definitely Glee from the comedy noms. Dude, all three of them had very sub par seasons.

I think I get more enjoyment week to week from The Good Wife than any other show. The acting is fan-fucking-tastic.

I've been a fan of hers since pre-TNG, when she was on Guiding Light playing one twin-pretending to be the other twin-pretending to be the first twin. LOL. Only on a soap.
