Heh, they're busy resurrecting folks over there (in one form or another. It could be a slew of angels... or zombies) because in addition to Havins, Cady McClain's Dixie is back from the dead (again. And last time they killed her on screen, with a body, and a funeral... and then we saw her in HEAVEN! Actually they did the same with Havins (except the heaven part. Babe wouldn't go to heaven. Purgatory at best, and no the show can't say otherwise, no matter how hard they try to stick a halo on her.).
Josh Duhamel's [sp] "Leo" is also returning from the dead (or having a ghostly visitation)
As is Thorsten Kaye's "Zach."

Date: 2011-07-20 04:40 pm (UTC)They don't have to be ghosts..after all they brought Jesse back from the dead and he not only died onscreen, he donated his organs. LOL!
They are threatening to do the same weird thing with GH according to spoilers...brining back Alan, AJ, and little Jake. (All of whom died on-screen.)
Very weird trend to obtain ratings.
Oh AMC and OLTL have been rescued - they will start airing on the web as a web series - produced by Park Slope Productions. Apparently that's the newest trend - soap opera watching on the internet.
(Can't beat them, join them.)

Date: 2011-07-20 06:21 pm (UTC)And - heh - hypocritically, I'd be all for bringing Alan and AJ back (Georgie too) because the show never should have killed them in the first place.
Saw that about the rescue, but I also read yesterday that they still haven't contacted any of the actor's agents... which is weird as AMC has to be shutting down production soon (and the web thingie says they want to start airing immediately after AMC goes off air.)
OLTL has just disgusted me so much lately that I no longer care.

Date: 2011-07-21 07:31 pm (UTC)Oh I gave up on all of them but GH ages ago. And at the moment, I'm wondering about GH...Hee. (Watching The Wire does fiddle with my soap opera patience level. Probably shouldn't watch back to back.)
Can't say I miss AJ - he grated. Or Emily - so ready for her to meet her maker. But I do miss Georgie and Alan - they could have done a lot with both. Preferred Georgie/Spinalli to Spinalli/Maxie (which grates).
Apparently they brought back the original Todd. See it in the previews. And Dixie's definitely returned to AMC that's also in previews which they show at the end of GH, or I wouldn't know about it.
It seems official that they've been picked up for web, and AMC is moving back east...not that I care. But there are other web series - the guy who used to play Edmund has been doing one with Fiona Hughes for a while now, apparently or so I read somewhere.
