I liked this ep. I'm always a sucker for mythology episodes, even (it seems) rather ludicrous ones. :)

So now we know the origin of vampires in TVD.

And we know that brotherly bond is strong. :)

Damon and Stefan were the best in this episode, and I loved the ending with Elena telling Damon that she thinks it will be Stefan's love for his brother to bring him back. Major aww from me

I also loved that last bit with Elena/Damon with her telling him that it'll be Stefans love for Damon in the end.

As much as I enjoyed the episode, I'm starting to wonder if the TVD writers have any other ideas besides brothers-for-eternity. It really does seem like they keep using the same formula over and over, and it's a fine line between "theme" and "bad writing". I guess Michael switches things up a bit, but I'm keeping an eye out.

Yeah, probably. And I bet CW pushes it as a concept too since it's been successful Supernatural-wise.

I kind of want Michael on a rampage.
