Guh! Cable is out

My cable went out Friday (and apparently it really is the cable and not a modem problem) and they won't come out to fix it until Tuesday. Now I'm stuck on pokey-old-dialup!

Oh, I *hate* that! When our DSL was down over a long weekend, I was doing crazy things like driving to a friend's house to sit in her driveway at 2:00am and log in to her wireless network... just so I'd have broadband.

Heh. I just sign onto my mothers unlimited AOL account. . .as her. Since my broadband account only has 5 hours of dial-up... and I'm WAY more addicted to the internet than that!
