She's one of those breeds that has hair so it continues to grow until it's cut. (you can see the variety here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Havanese ) In her breed the hair is so soft and fine that it tends to be perpetually mussed.

I'll trim her soon, but right now her hair is sort of unevenly distributed with more hair on her head than on her body, so I want the body hair to grow out a little first.

Puppy pic tips: TREATS. Turn on all the lights. Get down on her level. If that means putting her on furniture, and you on the floor at the edge of it, do so. TREATS. Treats keep them still! :D It's also a good start at training.

(I use Cheerios. They're like, no calories, and the dogs don't know that.)

Very cute, I have a soon to be 12 year old papillon. And he has that kinda of coat, it won't be long that Zoe will be going to the groomer's more often than you go to the Hair Dresser :)
