At the beach. Will probably go to the fireworks at the beach tonight.

Watched 50 First Dates on DVD last night and the movie is actually rather endearing. I may buy this one.

Anyway, Happy 4th to everyone. Eat hamburgers, hot dogs, ribs, fries, chips, and ice cream. Have a great day.

I'm going to my friend's annual Fourth of July fest. We eat dinner up at her place, then watch the Ridgefield fireworks, which they set off down on the high school playing field. (I much prefer that to the beach, with all its sand.) Depending on how full and lazy we are, we either walk down to the school or watch from her driveway on top of the hill.

Endearing is the word I would use for it too. The plot is a bit daft but I love Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler together. I'm a big Wedding Singer fan too.
