* Not the bestest ep ever. It was a bit erratic. Scary in bits, but wasn't Ethan beaten up a bit easily, all things considered? (Naturally, Jack had to do it. --eyeroll--). Although Sayid and Jack were right, they shouldn't have just killed Ethan.

* Charlie's caretaker pathology is a bit curious. Sympathetic, but just a bit odd as well.

* Not sure if I was Claire that I'd trust the guy who just pumped five rounds into someone (even if that someone was the bad guy) because it's just a tad frightening that someone could do that. I'm not saying that what Charlie did was wrong so much as if he was a stranger to me and I saw it... I don't know if I'd instantly get chummy with him.

* Heh at Sawyer's reply to whether he could use a gun "At least one polar bear thinks so."

* Kind of sexist that Jack chose only to pick men. Is that supposed to be protective of Kate? If I were Kate, I'd be kind of irritated too.

* All in all, occasionally spooky but not great ep.

* Sayid? STILL PRETTY!



PROJECT RUNWAY (Comments in real time)

Guh! Even Wendy knows that she "survives" challenges like a cockroach. I cannot BELIEVE she makes it into the final three (though from scrutinizing the collections on TWoP I know that she does). She simply does not have the talent of the other three. And I hate her "reality show" scheming. The witch took fabric off of Kara's table and copied Kara's color scheme. Guh! Of course, what makes it worse is that Wendy likes to play victim. Whaa! No one likes me! Why WOULD any of the others like her? She's a scheming, whining, lackluster, bitchy, bad make-up, horrible hair, fashion impaired nutcase.

Why haven't they kicked this woman off yet?!

You cannot tell me that the judges don't know that the Cockroach is outclassed in every way by the other three designers. They're only keeping her around so as to have a villain on the show.)

Still love Jay. Snarky (aka HONEST) but not mean about it. (Jay's assessment of Austin matches my own. Austin has a lot of talent and potential, but he's young and needs to develop. Austin is a bit costumy... but he's STILL a better designer than Wendy the Cockroach!)

Shut up, Wendy! Jay's allowed to LIKE Kara Saun and recognize that Kara Saun is actually talented, unlike say... the skunk-striped housewife! Jay can compliment Kara and her work without you getting shirty about it. And stop whining, Cockroach!

And see, this is why people LIKE Kara Saun and Jay! They are not only talented, but helpful and nice. Kara genuinely offered help and her opinion to Jay. It was to help him, not to harm him. And Jay listened to her because he knew she was trying to be helpful. It wasn't the kind of scheming mindgames that Wendy plays (Of course, Wendy was bitchy about it. How DARE Kara and Jay be nice to each other! How dare they respect each other! Why can't they help ME! {so I can stab them in the back}I want to see them suffer.) Hey, if Jay took Kara's gesture as genuine, and something nice on Kara's part, then Wendy should accept that it was a genuine, nice gesture that Kara to critique Jay's outfit and suggested he change stuff! (Oh, wait, this is the Wendy who couldn't take the helpful advice from the PARSON'S DESIGN SCHOOL GUY last week! Guess if you are a scheming backstabber, you think everyone is out to get you because, naturally, everyone has to be just like you. ) And look, Kara's advice HELPED Jay (his dress does look better after Kara's advice).

And Wendy saying she wants to win Project Runwat to show up Kara. *snort* Not holding my breath for when that never happens.

Wendy's dress this week was "cute" but it didn't fit all that well. (Then again ,that would take more skill than Wendy actually has.) Worst thing is, Wendy's going to win this week's challenge because it's something that can be "fixed" the easiest. Guh! Guh! Guh! This sucks.

Kara's was more attractive than I thought it would be. (But I agree that the pants were too full).

Austin's also is much cuter than it looked in pictures. (And, Austin should hold O'Dell to her saying he could design her Oscar dress!)

Jay's wasn't my favorite -- but the guy is so talented.

So Wendy Cockroach makes it into the final three because O'Dell can hide the skirt of her ugly ill-fitting dress on camera. Yuck.

I almost felt as badly for Kara and Jay as I did for Austin when Austin was eliminated. Kara was in tears that Austin was eliminated, and Jay was completely disgusted that Austin was eliminated. (See, Wendy, this is how unthreatened, talented, NICE people react when a talented, nice designer is eliminated. They don't smirk like backstabbing bitches! Hell, even the judges seemed sorry they eliminated Austin.)

And I heart Jay all the more for his coming straight out and saying how sick he was that Austin was eliminated so that the Cockroach could make it into the final three saying, "I'm sorry. . .but I hate Wendy." Yeah, everyone who watches the show does too. (And I hope that the person Vanessa says has no talent next week is Wendy).

Sob. For once there was a chance to go into a reality show competition liking all three deserving competitors. Instead they go into the final three with two very nice, very deserving competitors and one heinous bitch.

All I know is that Kara or Jay had BETTER win this puppy or this show has no credibility whatsoever.
