Thanks for the good vibes, everyone.

At the moment it's just... no information. Mom gave me the brief call this morning saying what Mike (the cardiologist) had said and that they were going home to... I don't know what. I haven't been able to get her on her home phone or cell since then.

I spoke to my sister after school let out. She doesn't have much more info herself. She's going to call Mike tonight and ask what kind of time frame we're talking about for the surgery. Is it something that has to happen *right now*, can it wait a few weeks? What are we talking about?

So we should have more info soon.

She's said she told Mom to put their house on the market *this week* (let's see how that goes. Mom is... rather nutty where houses are concerned. . . hence the fact that they even HAVE a house in Monroeville (long story).

Either way, they've been planning (and promising) to sell for the last year.

If there is the best possible outcome we're still talking months before they could go back (and my sister worries that if the house is there they'd insist on going back too soon). Monroeville is in the middle of freaking no where. The doctors are here, and my sister and myself are here. They really can't plan to return to Monroeville. I just wrote a note telling Mom not to worry about her cat. My cat can learn to accept a roomie.

So at the moment, we're on standby. I don't know what's going to happen when.

Mom and Dad will be back by the end of the week because my nephew is in the school play Friday.

And my sister will have more information from the cardiologist tonight.

It's frustrating and upsetting, but there's really nothing to do at the moment.
