shipperxDad went in today for the (don't know the name) scan where they insert a tube down his esophagus to get a better radiographic image of the heart. Mike (the cardiologist) came back and said that Dad's heart is working better than he had thought and that there was less leakage than he had thought. Now, he thinks they may not have to have a second surgery but just keep Dad on blood pressure medicine to keep Dad's blood pressure low.
Dad will see the surgeon tomorrow for the 1 month check with the surgeon and we'll see whether the surgeon concurs but it's looking like Dad MAY not have to go in for a second surgery.
