LOL! I wrote a comment, then deleted it when I realized that in identifying myself as an editor I had made it sound as if I'd once been her editor, which I most emphatically never have been. So I'll just summarize by saying I think she's a formerly talented writer who fell into the trap of her own ego, as so many bestselling writers seem to, and also? She has no idea how to use em-dashes, despite the guidance of her muse. (And her unparagraphed diatribe made my eyes cross.)

Sheesh, it's the Ego that Ate New Orleans!

I hope that if I ever become a best-selling author (or even a BNF! ;) ) that I always remember that everyone needs an editor or beta-reader. No wonder Anne Rice's latest books are so stinkerrific and filled with inconsistencies.
