shipperxWell, at LAST my sister has finally settled on a home to move to. She called and said they made a downpayment on this one today (really terrible rendering. Who did they hire to do the drawing? A monkey? And it doesn't have the stucco on the rendering either.
Now, can I hope to escape being trapped in the middle of my sister and my mother, who both have been running around angry with one another through this whole thing with me caught in the middle (and the thing is both of their complaints about the other are and are not true. Some of the things mom complains about my sister are in fact true. Some of her complaints are just Mom's wild accusations. Conversely, some of my sister's accusations about my mother are also true. But she also doesn't cut mom slack that she should. Mom means well. Her anxiety attacks are out of love, and she really doesn't "get" how difficult she can be when she's in her "moods." So you just have to blow it off and realize that she means well even when it's easy to be irritated. And the truth is, while not all of the offense mom takes at things is reasonable, my sister is capable of being dismissive and careless of our side of the family's feelings on occasion.
Sigh. Well, hopefully with this particular stress now out of the equation things will settle down (though the actual moving is still to come.

While both of Mom and Sis complain about the demands they each place on each other, both seem unware of the demands they place on me! You know, the one trapped in the middle and expected to be on both of their sides! Not to mention, because I'm the single one, the one expected to drop everything whenever either of them need me for something.
