A slight change of pace from most weeks, but I don't think that's a bad thing. Seems they're taking time to set up the finale.I don't mind their pausing to try to make Sylar a tad more complex (but no less creepy). Killing his mother wasn't really a shock. Knew she had to die from the moment he showed up, but doing the apocalyptic painting out of her blood was creee-pee. Aw, at HRG and Claire reunion. Too bad Peter/Claire are uncle/neice or they'd still be worth shipping (not that that sort of thing has ever stopped fandoms). Mostly it seemed to be moving characters into place so it's not really the most fast-paced of epidsodes. But, I appreciate how it works in the grand scheme of things so I just sat back and enjoyed Heroes for the comic book entertainment that it is.
It's sort of nostalgic for it to be May and to have heroes rushing to prevent an apocalypse (missing that BtVS/AtS good years.)
