SoapNet is finally going to get around to airing the current season of Being Erica:

The beloved Canadian time-travel drama Being Erica returns to SOAPnet for its third season U.S. premiere on Wednesday, Jan. 26, at 11 p.m., EW has learned exclusively. The series — which follows 30-something Erica Strange as she travels back in time to relive past regrets — will return for 13 episodes this winter, with the season premiere revealing what was behind the door her time-travel-inducing therapist, Dr. Tom (Michael Riley), instructed her to pick in the second season-finale cliffhanger. The season will include the consequences of that choice, as well as Erica’s foray into starting her own publishing business and her newly single life after breaking up with Ethan (Tyron Leitso).

Also, I don't think I commented on this last weeks (Canadian broadcast) episode of B.E. It seemed to have a lot of storylines going on, so I'm guessing that we're nearing the end of the season. I'm still liking Samantha/Lenin. And poor Julianne and Erica. I'm not sure how they're going to work out that business plot.

It does have to be said that if ever a series met the Bechdel test it would have to be Being Erica. Julianne and Erica's friendship/partnership in no way revolves around men, except inasmuch as about authors they try to sign to their publishing firm (or their professional rivalry against Brent). They're two women trying to make a business work, so most of their conversations actually are about business and money... and occasionally about what a hardass Julianne can be to subordinates.
