*snort*  Have hung out on TWoP's "Project Runway" thread and there was an ongoing discussion about PR's Jay and Kara not congratulating cockroach Wendy on making it into the final three.  I responded that I might be "a stone cold bitch" but I wouldn't have congratulated her either.  If I had to choose between insincere congratulations and sincere silence, I would have chosen silence too.

Soon others piped in "I want to be a stone cold bitch too!"  Followed by "We should have a "Stone Cold Bitches Club!"  With someone suggesting a slogan of "Stone Cold Bitches--Unite!."

Then someone created... a t-shirt!  And put it on Cafe Press.  And then it was picked up by a fashion blog: http://www.gawker.com/news/culture/fashion/index.php#style-fax-the-wendy-pepper-tshirt-bonanza-033267  that's been keeping tabs on the show.

Heh. I'm demi-influential.  Does this mean I'm 'in'?

Well, either the blog got it wrong or Cafe Press pulled the shirt -- it's not there at the moment.

As for myself, I think my reaction in that situation would have been, "Isn't that nice?" in a tone that made it quite clear the cockroach could go fuck herself, then go back to whatever conversation I was having.

Tonight is going to be interesting.

Cafe Press has pulled the shirt for "investigation" into possible copywrite infringement. The woman who did the shirt said that it's an original layout and that it's not REALLY a picture of Wendy but a sketch of a piture so she's hopeful of the shirt being allowed.

Hmm. Can't say I blame them because the Pepperpooper strikes me as someone who would sue if she had a leg to stand on -- maybe even if she didn't, so they're wise to check things first in this instance.

Even if they don't pass that, I'm certain creative minds can come up with something.
