Jan. 20th, 2014 12:48 pmSleepy Hollow:
The dynamic duo that is Abbie and Ichabod will hit a rough patch during Sleepy Hollow's season finale, and you can thank Katrina for that.
No, Abbie and Katrina won't be fighting for Ichabod's affections, no matter how many fans hope to see some Ichabbie. With the prophecy that Ichabod will deliver Abbie to Moloch looming, Abbie will have doubts that when her partner is faced with the choice to either rescue Katrina or sacrifice his wife for the greater good, Ichabod will make the wrong decision. {Me: Which is obviously sacrifice Katrina. Sacrifice Katrina all to hell because she is a woefully underdeveloped and uninvolving character!}
"They question each other a little bit," Beharie tells TVGuide.com. Betrayal is on the agenda for the finale, but who actually betrays whom is the real question. "You just won't see it coming," she adds of the season ender's big twist. "It's really creative."
As for what's coming up in the finale, the duo will go in search of an item left behind by George Washington that, in the hands of good, could help with the quest to find Katrina, but in the hands of evil, would essentially hand the battle over to Moloch. Making things more complicated: They'll learn that there's another prophecy that essentially reiterates Moloch's proclamation that Crane will deliver Abbie's soul to the dark side. They'll also face a new foe (of sorts) that is immeasurably strong, making their path ahead very dangerous. So dangerous, in fact, that it will cost someone their life.

Sleepy Hollow's two-hour season finale airs Monday at 8/7c on Fox
<hr>Once Upon a Time:
There are seven weeks until Once Upon a Time returns. That's the bad news. The good news is TVGuide.com caught up with executive producers to get the scoop on what's ahead.
The last we saw our favorite fairy tale characters, Peter Pan's attempt to reuse the Evil Queen 's curse forced everyone back to the Enchanted Forest. But Emma and Henry, who were not part of the original curse, could not come along. {Me: That summary isn't exactly correct. } Instead, their memories were wiped, and they were living happily in New York City until Capt. Hook showed up with news that Emma's parents, Snow White and Prince Charming, were in trouble.
{Me: I always love how summaries of this show sound like crack!fic. :)
Why was it Capt. Hook that came to Emma in New York City?
Adam Horowitz: That is an excellent question. Why and how?
Edward Kitsis: What the hell is going on?
Horowitz: We're answering your question with more questions. It's not why Hook, but how Hook and when Hook? What does it mean? That's something that we get to, again, pretty quickly.
The true love's kiss did not work. What lengths will Hook have to go to get Emma to actually believe?
Kitsis: Assuming that he does, it will not be easy, as it never is with Emma.
Horowitz: The ramifications of this new life of Emma's that we glimpsed at the end of the winter finale and what would happen if she did regain her memories play a huge part in the second half of the season.
How different is this Emma from the one we've known?
Kitsis: It was an important thing. Emma, as a character, we love her. She has some new memories, but that didn't ruin her upbringing. She still grew up tough, she still grew up with a wall. It was her against the world and what we'll see is with these new memories it's now her and Henry against the world.
Do the fairy tale characters sent back to the Enchanted Forest still have their memories of Storybrooke?
Kitsis: Yes. They know and that gets explored.
Horowitz: As we laid out in the winter finale, Emma was the one who being back there was going to lose those memories and have this new life. The fairy tale characters get left with the pain and knowledge of what happened over the years that the show has been on and what they've been through. None of that is erased.
Snow White and Charming are in danger. Does this have to do with the Wicked Witch?
Horowitz: That's an excellent guess. The Wicked Witch plays a huge part in the season half of Season 3.
Kitsis: She's the big bad. She's a bada-- witch who knows how to get hers. She does have a name.
Horowitz: You will learn it pretty quickly. It's not a name you've heard in Wicked Witch lore before.
Kitsis: Like in Once fashion, we're doing our own name, our own thing with its own meaning.
Horowitz: It's not like the play Wicked or the MGM movie. We're using the books as a jumping-off point to do our Once twist on the classic characters of Oz.
It looks like she's taken up residence in Regina's castle.
Horowitz: It does look that way!
Kitsis: You know Regina. How do you think Regina will handle someone sitting in her chair looking through her stuff?
Horowitz: And eating her porridge?
What can you tell us about the Evil Queen's relationship with Robin Hood?
Horowitz: They have a connection that we hinted at and talked about earlier this season. Their stories are going to intersect.
Kitsis: We set something up for a reason. We're going to explore what that meant and what happens when these two people meet. We're going to see what happens when Regina has a second chance at love.
Tell us about some of the new characters coming in.
Horowitz: We have a whole bunch of fun people popping up, but it's in service of focusing on the core group of characters and the problem that you saw outlined in the winter finale.
Kitsis: We're still going to get to see Tinkerbelle again and Ariel and some of the people we met in the first half of the season as well. Lumiere is one of our favorite characters. He's really fun and interesting.
Horowitz: It's a slightly different take than what you might expect from the movie. Alas, Jerry Orbach is not with us so we couldn't bring him aboard to do it, but we have a take on the character that we think is fun. It's fun to see him interact with Belle.
Kitsis: With Rapunzel, it's princes and damsels in towers.
There's a possibility for a Snow and Charming baby. So Goodwin's pregnancy is being written in?
Kitsis: We definitely hinted that she wanted to have another child. They're certainly going to try.
Horowitz: We'll deal with the realities of her pregnancy, but how we do it, we're not ready to share. When you saw Snow saw her secret about that, it was well before we knew Ginny was pregnant. We're telling the story that we've been setting up since the beginning of the season.
Kitsis: But you know, every time Snow White gets pregnant, hell gets unleashed.
Horowitz: Pregnancies tend to attract some chaos.
What can you tease about the wedding?
Kitsis: Yes, there may be a wedding, a birth and a lot of things.
Horowitz: We're not ready to send the save the dates out yet, but we can possibly expect some nuptials.
Regina still wants a child. Will that be explored?
Horowitz: The hole of Henry in her heart, that we're going to explore and how that affects her and what it makes her do.
Kitsis: She definitely wants to have another child, but for right now, she's not thinking about that. She just lost one. For Regina, it's what is going to make her heal again and where is she going to go. We know she filled the hole in her heart by doing the most selfless thing we've ever seen her do. She did what's best for Henry and gave him up to Emma, her sworn enemy, so they can have a better life. What happens when she returns to the Enchanted Forest? She needs to fall in love first. Right now, she's not open to anything.
Horowitz: She's not looking to replace Henry. As far as she is concerned, Henry is irreplaceable.
Once Upon a Time returns Sunday, March 9 at 8/7c on ABC.

Date: 2014-01-20 11:20 pm (UTC)I'm so far behind the prophecy left me scratching my head...(I've watched the episode before the Xmas break, when Headless almost got rescued, but none after as of yet)
Which is obviously sacrifice Katrina. Sacrifice Katrina all to hell because she is a woefully underdeveloped and uninvolving character
So agree. The character bores me and I don't care. I don't really romantically ship anyone on this series. I do love the Jenny/Abby sister relationship (best one seen to date) and the friendships. It's not a romantic series.
Do they have to kill a main character? Please not Jenny or Orlando Bloom...can we kill off Katrina? I wouldn't mind if they killed off Katrina.
2. OUAT
Oh they are being cagey about spoilers. I honestly can't wait until this one starts up again. And their summary...is not exactly correct, as the writers sort of point out.
We're still going to get to see Tinkerbelle again and Ariel and some of the people we met in the first half of the season as well. Lumiere is one of our favorite characters. He's really fun and interesting.
Does this mean they are planning on developing Belle a bit more? I hope so. Maybe with Rumple gone, she'll be better developed.
Not sure I need more of Ariel.
And no spoilers on Baelfire/Neal? Darn. Regina, I'm admittedly ambivalent about...
Most curious about Emma, Hook and Henry - and Snow/Charming, Baelfire.
I'm guessing Rumple is gone?
And wedding??? Ariel and her Prince? Guessing Mulan will be back as competition for Robin Hood? Actually a Regina/Robin Hood/Mulan triangle could be intriguing...

Date: 2014-01-21 04:32 pm (UTC)Yeah, the problem with Katrina is that they really have given us no reason TO care. The actress and Mison don't have a ton of chemistry. Katrina doesn't have much of a POV. And so she just is the damsel caught in purgatory and we just don't care.
I don't really romantically ship anyone on this series.
It's too early, but I rather love those stages where it's all open and it's a matter of whether or not its developed.
I do love the Jenny/Abby sister relationship (best one seen to date) and the friendships.
Jenny is a great addition to the show. Definitely want to keep her around.
Do they have to kill a main character?
They certainly aren't going to tell us now. They ended with cliffhangers to the left, right, and in between.

God, I hope so. Belle (the old Disney character) deserves to be her own person rather than an accessory.
Regina, I'm admittedly ambivalent about...
I'm interested because it's so open ended. They could go with the Robin Hood connection or they could go with "Oppotunity lost!". I suspect young Roland (Robin's son) will be a big factor. I'm interested in hints of which way they're going.
I'm guessing Rumple is gone?
I seriously doubt it's permanent (half expect him to show up as the great and powerful Oz.)

Date: 2014-01-21 11:51 pm (UTC)I forgot about Roland...that would give Regina two for the price of one.
It may also be what brings them together...assuming she doesn't make the same mistakes she did with Owen, although I doubt it - Regina appeared to have learned from her mistakes last season. And the introduction of a new villain, means that the writers have decided to let Regina be redeemed and not continue as the Evil Queen. YAY!
I seriously doubt it's permanent (half expect him to show up as the great and powerful Oz.)
Well, he didn't so much as die, as go poof. So it's possible. No body, anything can happen. Also in these sorts of series - people don't tend to stay dead (unless they are supporting characters that the writers aren't interested in such as the huntsman/Sheriff Graham). I wonder if Pan will pop up again - his body sort of disappeared as well?
They could just have Carlyle play another role.
Although Rumple as the Great and Powerful OZ would be a hoot.

True. And I already see a ship forming between Jenny and the Captain/Chief of Police (who I adore)
At the moment, I hope they don't do it with Icabode and Abby, mainly because its too obvious and been done to death by now, be nice if they went a different route for a change.
Yeah, the problem with Katrina is that they really have given us no reason TO care. The actress and Mison don't have a ton of chemistry. Katrina doesn't have much of a POV. And so she just is the damsel caught in purgatory and we just don't care.
For a contract character (who even is in the front credits) - they haven't done much with her, have they? The most interesting bit of backstory so far was her relationship with Headless (which inadvertently caused Headless to become Headless - and reflects back on the original tale of the Headless horseman, which was why I found it interesting) and the haunted house bit.
She's supposed to be a badass witch, but she's coming across as a sort of pathetic damsel, and she is hard to care about.
Mison and Abby have a lot more chemistry. He has almost none with Katrina.

Date: 2014-01-21 06:00 pm (UTC)Not in the TVGuide article. He must've been mentioned somewhere because i09 has an excerpt as well:
"In the real world, Emma's not going to be easily charmed by Hook. But she's also lost the good memories of Neal. Says Kitsis:

Date: 2014-01-21 11:38 pm (UTC)I'm sort of wondering Bae and Belle may get together? Both grieving the loss of their loves. That could result in some drama, although I hope they don't do that - it's too cliche and daytime soap.
