--  So the Sleepy Hollow Season Finale was a cliffhanger-palooza.  Was there someone they didn't leave imperiled in some way?  And I must say,Jenny had damn well better survive.  I mean it, show.  I mean it!  You could've killed Katrina, and I would have been fine with it (in fact I'm kind of bummed you didn't, or at least didn't reveal her to be evil.)  But Jenny is no joking matter!Sleepy Hollow has its flaws, but it did what I most need from a show:  it's made me like and root for its characters (well, except not so much with Katrina.  Katrina is sort of the Riley Finn of the show.  Nothing is actively objectionable, and she probably works on paper.  But the problem is that on screen, I just don't care).  But Abbey, Ichabod, Irving, and Jenny?  Even Dead!Andy to an extent.  I care about them.  And Ichabod's cell phone rants. :) And his bitching about the historical inaccuracy of Revolutionary War LARPing.  ...And his saying "cool."   Hee! :D

Hurry back, show. And don't kill Jenny!

--  Watching the news this morning.  You know what Chris Christie's 'tell' is that he really and truly IS a bully?  It's the way he dishes it but the exact moment that he has to take it, he starts crying "meanies!" and playing the victim.  "You just don't know how HARD this is on me."   Dude, have you SEEN the mega shit-ton level of uncalled for bullcrap they've put Barack Obama through?  Has he ever whined "You don't know how hard this is on me."?   No.  No, he hasn't.  After the "shut up!" rants Christie likes to film of himself (seriously, he pays a dude to follow him around to catch those gem-like moments so he can watch them over and over again.  Seriously.  No...  SERIOUSLY)  it's way too late in the game for him to claim that he not bully material.  If his own actions hadn't made that clear already, his insta-victim theatrics would still seal the deal.

--  I had read that it's possible for dogs to have sympathetic pregnancies (not really pregnant but act as though they are).  I rather think that's what is going on with baby Zoe.  Zoe has this little blue octopus toy that has huge eyes and is about the size a puppy of her breed.  She lost it once and was so distressed that I bought her a second one (then found the original, as that is the way these things usually happen).  Her hyper attachment to the toy is cyclical.  I don't think she's bothered with it in months.  Then the other day she found it again and has been tenderly carrying it just about everywhere with her, gingerly tucking it against pillows and laying with it. (It's totally adorable and gentle the way she nurtures it).  Last night she systematically gathered both little blue octopus twins, placed them in my lap, then went off and returned with her little stuffed lamb, laid it against me too, and then curled up in my lap with them all and slept there for hours.  It was like she had created an entire stuffed-toy litter for herself.  Very sweet... and a little strange. She has a marked attachment to her blue babies and her lamb, but especially to her blue octopus babies.

Yes, Jenny needs to live. If they want to kill Katrina, though, I wouldn't object.

Katrina is a very pretty lady and I'm sure the actress is nice and all but...she does nothing for me. The character is so meh.

They can't kill her - she has to save everyone! Although maybe Deputy Andy is a lost cause although he can't be dead dead either.

I assumed that Jeremy had to figure somehow into the plot but I didn't see what they planned coming - tricky devils.

While I loved the cell phone ranting and the visit to the inaccurate re-inactors my true love totally went for : Many a mickle makes a muckle.
Which really is an old expression .

Yeah, I didn't see his being Jeremy either. I was actually surprised by that plot twist, and can see a lot of potential in it.

My dog loves stuffed animals, too! And she is so sweet with them, it breaks my heart. <3 dogs.

She very sweet with them. She does seem to treat them like babies when she's in this mood (although under normal circumstances she treats the little lamb like prey. The blue babies, though, seem to be special to her in some way.)

I'm so torn on Sleepy Hollow. Part of me knows that restricting it to 13 episodes a year, is a very good idea. It would be exhausting to keep up that much crazy for 22 episodes.

And part of me what more right now! rather than wait until next fall.

Yeah, I can see how an abbreviated season can be helpful.

On the other hand, I'm going to miss the Monday Night Crack!

DO. NOT. KILL. JENNY. I want her to show up with a chainsaw.

And I love that the show has now jumped head-on into complete apocalyptic masonic crazy. As long as they played it somewhat realistically (on a scale from huh to wtf), it seemed a bit too much, but now that they're fully immersed in it, I love it.

Jenny must live!

The twist was great and one I didn't see coming.

I want a pic of Zoe doing this! Jasper used to collect his toys too like that.

Very nice twist. It was set up but you didn't anticipate.

And Zoe at 6am this morning (it was ridiculously cold last night, so, yeah, she's in a sweatshirt).

LOVE! She's like a little Rastafarian, with a Pastafarian diety as her toy!

Had to wait until tonight until I could watch the show but I'm all the way with you. Don't they dare kill Jenny.

Sleepy hollow really is my surprise love this year. It's not that I'd say it's masterpiece, but I adore it. I love every bit, from the sister dynamic between Jenny and Abbey to Ichabod's phone and clothing issues. They finally gave me a show again with a bunch of truly likable people. I wish shield was half that engaging.

We still haven't gotten a chance to sit down and watch the streaming version, damn it.

Bo only cares about toys if he can rip them to shreds (or better yet, induce us to help him rip them to shreds in tug-of-war.) He'd make a terrible dog parent. *g*
