--  So the Sleepy Hollow Season Finale was a cliffhanger-palooza.  Was there someone they didn't leave imperiled in some way?  And I must say,Jenny had damn well better survive.  I mean it, show.  I mean it!  You could've killed Katrina, and I would have been fine with it (in fact I'm kind of bummed you didn't, or at least didn't reveal her to be evil.)  But Jenny is no joking matter!Sleepy Hollow has its flaws, but it did what I most need from a show:  it's made me like and root for its characters (well, except not so much with Katrina.  Katrina is sort of the Riley Finn of the show.  Nothing is actively objectionable, and she probably works on paper.  But the problem is that on screen, I just don't care).  But Abbey, Ichabod, Irving, and Jenny?  Even Dead!Andy to an extent.  I care about them.  And Ichabod's cell phone rants. :) And his bitching about the historical inaccuracy of Revolutionary War LARPing.  ...And his saying "cool."   Hee! :D

Hurry back, show. And don't kill Jenny!

--  Watching the news this morning.  You know what Chris Christie's 'tell' is that he really and truly IS a bully?  It's the way he dishes it but the exact moment that he has to take it, he starts crying "meanies!" and playing the victim.  "You just don't know how HARD this is on me."   Dude, have you SEEN the mega shit-ton level of uncalled for bullcrap they've put Barack Obama through?  Has he ever whined "You don't know how hard this is on me."?   No.  No, he hasn't.  After the "shut up!" rants Christie likes to film of himself (seriously, he pays a dude to follow him around to catch those gem-like moments so he can watch them over and over again.  Seriously.  No...  SERIOUSLY)  it's way too late in the game for him to claim that he not bully material.  If his own actions hadn't made that clear already, his insta-victim theatrics would still seal the deal.

--  I had read that it's possible for dogs to have sympathetic pregnancies (not really pregnant but act as though they are).  I rather think that's what is going on with baby Zoe.  Zoe has this little blue octopus toy that has huge eyes and is about the size a puppy of her breed.  She lost it once and was so distressed that I bought her a second one (then found the original, as that is the way these things usually happen).  Her hyper attachment to the toy is cyclical.  I don't think she's bothered with it in months.  Then the other day she found it again and has been tenderly carrying it just about everywhere with her, gingerly tucking it against pillows and laying with it. (It's totally adorable and gentle the way she nurtures it).  Last night she systematically gathered both little blue octopus twins, placed them in my lap, then went off and returned with her little stuffed lamb, laid it against me too, and then curled up in my lap with them all and slept there for hours.  It was like she had created an entire stuffed-toy litter for herself.  Very sweet... and a little strange. She has a marked attachment to her blue babies and her lamb, but especially to her blue octopus babies.
