Hee! I have relatives who are storm chasers in OK & TX. They think nothing of driving around looking for tornadoes. When they got married they gave out snow globes with Wizard of Oz swirling tornadoes in them. All of those people are nuts.

I agree with him regarding the looting of food, clothing, medicine. That's understandable. If you or I were caught there, we'd no doubt do the same.

The part that's scary are the people with guns that are getting out of hand. A very, very small number of people with guns are making an already horrendous situation yet more dangerous for those who are trapped in New Orleans. I feel for those people. It looks like hell.

At this point we desperately, desperately need to evacuate everyone out of town, to a place that isn't demolished, a place where there's some semblance of normalcy and order so that problems can be addressed (and the host of health issues that are going to be following can be addressed).

It's become a scary situation and the priority is to get people the hell out and back to civilization.

It's heartbreaking.
