Woohoo! Sparklies is back up (though still on training wheels). I'm appreciating it because my old JM fan haunt has descended into wankerific nuttiness recently.

Plus... Sparklies is going pan-fandom! Not just Spike any more but all sorts of sci-fi genre stuff. Yeah!

It's not fully up and running but, hopefully it'll be fun!

ETA: And... yeah... I just posted a rant on BAPS. Probably shouldn't have, but JESUS! Get a little perspective! This has become ridiculous! Excuse me, but why in the hell do fans think they could manage the man's career better than he can, that they know what in the hell his priorities and needs are (or that they should even be privvy to them), and that the only possible jobs he should take are in something you want to watch (when everyone has a different opinion of what is watchable)?

You don't know what's best for him. You're not part of his LIFE. You're FANS, people, not Hollywood agents or his B.F.F.!

Went this afternoon to the Rave to see The Island. I enjoyed it. Very Logan's Run meets action movie. Fun in a summer movie "don't think about it TOO hard" kind of way. more detailed and thus spoilery discussion )
