Seriously?

I don't know whether the AL.com blog I read was accurate but if it is -- dude, that's fishy.

What is Known: Cops were called out to a 2am brawl involving LSU players and the bouncers of an off-campus night club.  The police report of the incident cited LSU QB Perrilloux as the most aggressive of the LSU players in the brawl.  The report went on to say that "one" of the players threatened to go home, get a gun, and return to shoot the employees of the club.

What I Just Read: If the blog report on AL.com is accurate, the players (the ones who don't usually play) were kicked off the team... except for  Perrilloux (who does regularly play) who isn't even suspended for a single game.

Seems to me if LSU wanted to make the whole thing seem fishy, they couldn't have done a better job of it than by disciplining players in such an unevenhanded manner.

I'm not naive enough to be shocked that LSU wouldn't suspend a player (no matter how deserved) prior to a big game, because... well... it's Les Miles, and the man is...um... interesting.  But, was LSU really so clumsy as to kick players in the incident off the team except for their backup quarterback?  That seems like an incredibly hamhanded move.  I wonder if the report is accurate, because I have to shake my head that the administration at LSU would do something that -- whatever the reality-- looks so darn suspicious.

ETA: They seem to have realized that this looked less than good.  So they've kicked off two players... and suspended Perrilloux for a week.

Seriously?

So, I gather Joss is returning to TV (didn't he swear he was going to movies? Then not so TV became okay again? Oh well, at least he'll be employed. That's got to be good for something somewhere). Oh and apparently he's doing the show with Eliza Dushku.

Um. Okay. I think that's all I'll say about the matter.
