Jeebus, that was stressful! We fans have been spoiled so far this season. The team has comfortably won every game until tonight. Tonight there were so many times the team could have won but somehow didn't, and the last few minutes were hell What would have been a nice, easy "kill the clock" final two minutes turned into an unending nightmare with a fumble. Tennessee scoring. Then they got the kick (WHAT?! Damn!) and driving all the way down to an easy field goal in the final seconds. Final four seconds... and it was blocked! Fans had already resigned themselves to losing and losing our championship hopes with them. It was "I can't look! I've got to look! But I can't look" hell. Somewhere in football heaven, the Bear does love us. Yes he does. And, the Bear also hates Tennessee, because tonight's non-loss (I can't even call it a win) was a miracle. ... Jeebus, that was close. ::facepalm:: (literally. A bunch of facepalms).
