Wow.
Damn, that was actually scary.
I could go all thinky thoughts on it, but basically... damn. That was pretty good.
In the end, I'm rather sorry that Lucy had to die. I liked her counterbalance to Mitchell because, honestly, he can talk about 'genocide' but let's not forget that vampires in the form of Herrick planned a human genocide or that Mitchell just murdered 20+ people. I liked his and Lucy's warring sense of guilt, so I was sad to see her die. On the other hand, I'm thrilled that Nina got to live and to be hellaciously hacked off. Finally, it was heartbreakingly honest that George admitted that he didn't ask Mitchell what had happened because he didn't want to know. If he knew, he'd have to do something and he needed Mitchell too much for that.
