The Plan

So the Christmas Eve dinner menu (my sister got Christmas brunch).

* Prime rib roast w/ garlic horseradish crust
* butternut squash soup
* Frank Stitt's potatoes au gratin (I have to re-read that recipe. It looked fairly straight-forward)
* asparagus or my arugula pomagranate seed salad (except I made the salad for Thanksgiving so I may opt for asparagus)
* dressing (this one is my mom's job)

* Pecan Pie

So the plan for tomorrow.

* Make 2 pecan pies
* Roast the butternut squash for the soup
* Make the horseradish cream for the rib roast Christmas eve
* roast the garlic and season the roast
