Huh. Flipping through the channels I hit on Sci-Fi and some Outer Limit's episode with Geraint Wyn Davies. Must be an old one because Geraint is looking hot... like he used to be hot on "Forever Knight". Since he's villain du jour of 24 thus far this season, I have to say that going with how he looks in the 24 shadows, he isn't as hot any more. (And whenever thinking of Nick Knight, I always end up remembering LaCroix... and how LaCroix must have thought Geraint Wyn Davies's "Nick Knight" was a weenie vampire by the end of the series.

What can I say, I still heart the snarky, bad ass bleached-blond vamp (in this particular case, when referring to "Forever Knight," I'd be referring to LaCroix).

(Oh, and now Cigarette Smoking Man has shown up in the Outer Limit's ep.)

Is he no longer hot? I'm sad now. I loved Forever Knight. I gather it's now out on DVD, and it's on my list, but not really high up.

glad to hear that Wyn Davies has got a regular gig though - I thought he did a good job in Forever Knight.

It was my first fandom. I wrote my first novel in FK.

He doesn't look awful (and the voice is still wonderful), but he's put on weight and aged. He's attractive but not HAWT!

But, yeah, he's the mastermind terrorist behind the scenes calling the shots thus far on this season's 24.

I have fond memories of Forever Knight myself and remember amusing myself when the show was originally on and I was staying in a Toronto high rise by looking out into the night to see if Nick was flying around.
And Nick was a weenie vampire unlike LaCroix.

The (abyssmal) ending of the series always sticks in my mind with Nick begging LaCroix to stake him. The pained expression on LaCroix's face always looked to be of infinite disappointment in Nick that Nick was no stronger than that.

One of the all-time most traumatic finales of anything. The only one I felt sorry for at the end was LaCroix as he was left alone at the end, the only one strong enough to survive.

That was one of the few endings I've ever seen where everyone gives up hope. Not just fail, because some shows have ended on a downbeat; but given up. Never really forgiven the producers of FK for that.

I was totally unspoiled and the truth was, I didn't even know that the show was CANCELLED. I remember just sitting there stunned with my mouth hanging open going -- whaaa?

You know, I kept meaning to check the cast listings (I always miss the guest stars on the opening credits for some reason) because I thought that was him, but his face was always so shadowed that I was never positive.

I loved Forever Knight, but the actor that played LaCroix always gives me the creeps. :)

Heh. Well, he IS creepy. And whenever I see him in anything I think "Lacroix!"

Someday I need to get Forever Knight on DVD, even the awful last season, which I prefer to pretend was some kind of bisarre dream sequence. I remember when AtS started its first season we took one look at the opening credits and howled, "It's Nick Knight in LA!"
