True Blood is Too Much Fun These Days

Heh.  True Blood is something of a trainwreck of a show, but damn it's a fun trainwreck these days.    Last night's episode was as cracky as many of its episodes have been, but I do. not. care.  It was FUN!

Russel flirting with Steve Newlin?  Hah!  Perfect!!  Russel + Steve = OTP, y'all!

Andy and Jason as two stupid cops who bumble into doing the right thing (and yet still manage to violate a prisoner's civil rights)  (Jason: "Anyone ever thought they're using those masks to hide their identity?"  Hah!  Ya think?!)

I don't know what in the hell Bill is going through these days, but I love watching Eric react to it.  

And DOGGET!!!  (Okay, I know everyone looks at him and goes "Terminator" but I was one of the few that still enjoyed post-Mulder X-Files at least during the Scully/Dogget season, so I go --  Dogget!) 

While we're at it... Bunhead's Boo's mom is a  villain?  Only on True Blood!

And we now see how the werewolf story and the vampire story and the shapeshifter story are all going to coalesce, which is more structure than TB usually manages, so I'm enjoying it. 

I don't expect a lot of True Blood.  As long as it's funny and bizarre, I'm happy.  So... I'm happy.
