* Jeffrey is a dick. And I feel sorry for his mother, but I also wonder what in his past caused him to have such problems with women... especially with women who dare to express and opinion to him. If I was Angela I'd be pissed as hell at him over the way he treated her mother.

* Aw. Michael remains a sweetie.

* Michael Kors mother does look just like him! Damn!

* Angela's dress was pretty bad.

* Laura's dress was pretty bad.

* I really thought that Uli was going to win this one.

* I thought the judges were overly harsh on Kayne's outfit.

* I had guessed that it was going to be Robert on the cutting block. They'll forgive Jeffrey's fug in favor of boring, and Robert's dress was rather boring. It was a mumu.

I really thought that Uli was going to win this one.

Right there with you. I was shocked at Vincent's win. I liked the dress, but I thought it looked odd from the back. Uli's was wonderful. Period.

The sad thing about Robert's dress was that it was no different from any of a hundred dresses I've seen like that. There was literally nothing to mark it as his at all.

Uli should have won this one, but I think the judges to have body issues. Uli's mom had a more 'standard' body and Kayne's mom and I think that was an influence.

I thought Kayne's outfit was much more interesting than most garments that are offered for large women. Uli's wasn't bad, but it was far more typical, and I wasn't at all taken with it. The outfits for the other larger women seemed obsessed with hiding them, rather than making them look good, so to them I can only say, yuck. I agree with the other poster that the judges were influenced by the body types of the models. Why have this type of challenge at all, if that's going to be a factor?

I'm all for making them do plus sized models, but they should have all had plus size models, to level the playing field.

And, I agree that I thought Kayne's outfit was at least flattering to the wearer (though I thought Kors had a point about the neckline. It should have been lower. With the big boobed, give a little neck room). And he clearly thought about the color because the color was lovely on her skin tone and it made her look younger.

What I wish was that TLC's Stacy and Clinton from What Not to Wear could have been a judges because they could have told Robert and Jeffrey exactly how wrong-headed they were from the start in their designs. If you want to flatter, go with structured as much as possible, don't go with a big tent of extra fabric. The extra fabric doesn't work. It just makes someone look bigger. Also you don't take skirts to the floor, especially if the woman is short. They should have brought the skirts up. They shouldn't be down at the ankle. They should be below the knee. And if she didn't have the legs for below the knee, they probably should have tried trousers.

And then... Jeffery's was just plain FUG.

I also liked the idea of Michael's and if he had been given time to refine it (and a more flowing fabric) it could be a nice design, though I thought the one on the runway was a little stiff and the belt too bulky for the outfit.

Is bad the same as blah? Because I didn't think Laura's dress was bad, just blah.

I totally agree with you about Kayne because I thought the colors were complimentary to her skin tone. And what's wrong with matching?

I thought Uli was going to win this one too. And like I told my husband Robert was been in the bottom three the last 3 weeks. And the judges had bascially the same comments for him every time.

I missed the first half of the show because I was watching Noah's Arc. What happened with Angela's mom and Jeffrey?

Angela's mom was picked last, so Jeffrey was sort of stuck with her. Then when they had the consult she said that she liked jackets and he shot her down saying that there was no way he was going to make a jacket. She was a little taken aback by his harshness and said that she didn't want to limit him. Then she said she liked deep purple and deep green. He went to the store and bought periwinkle and some other color. The next day she came in and Tim did his round. Jeffrey was MIA and Tim asked her how she liked the fabrics that Jeffrey had chosen. She said that she didn't particularly care for the colors, Jeffrey walked up and became mean saying that they were the ugly colors that SHE picked and he told Tim that she'd wanted DARK purple and DARK green (she had said 'deep' not 'dark' and I took her meaning to be jewel tones not DARK) and that those colors were hideous together. And it was all her fault. When Tim left he told her to get away from his desk. He didn't want her anywhere around. She started crying and went into the waiting room. Angela went to comfort her. Jeffrey's mom went to comfort her saying that Jeffrey was kind of a hot head, but then she excused it all by saying he was a creative type and an ex-drug addict and he didn't really mean it. (Yeah he did). Basically, he was incredibly rude to the poor woman and made her cry.
