Unpopular Opinion Meme

I ignore those things. Primarily because I'm bitchy enough to say most of my unpopular opinions when I have them, and the ones I don't have the bitchiness to say, I probably still wouldn't say on a meme. After all, it's not like no one will read the meme. I mean, I think the point of the whole thing escapes me. Usually the unpopular opinion is reserved because you don't want to piss off flisters...but it's then posted in a meme for the consumption of f-listers?

I'm not sure what the difference a meme is from the rest of the time.

But... maybe that's my unpopular opinion. :)

Oh man, it's funny over at the original (well, the most recent one I linked to) to see what opinions people choose to remain anonymous for and the ones to which people sign their names. Apparently, the etiquette of icon-making is a far more sensitive topic that no one wants anyone to know about than the idea that white people are somehow oppressed by the black man.

That's unpopular? I thought that was the standard opinion of most of the fandoms that aren't HP fandom. (Admittedly, I've never read any of the books and thought the last movie was rather boring).

I rarely see an unpopular opinion meme where someone doesn't chime in with "OMG I agree with everything you say!" There's no such thing as an unpopular fannish opinion, so long as you find the right group of fans.
