A slight change of pace from most weeks, but I don't think that's a bad thing. Seems they're taking time to set up the finale.I don't mind their pausing to try to make Sylar a tad more complex (but no less creepy). Killing his mother wasn't really a shock. Knew she had to die from the moment he showed up, but doing the apocalyptic painting out of her blood was creee-pee. Aw, at HRG and Claire reunion. Too bad Peter/Claire are uncle/neice or they'd still be worth shipping (not that that sort of thing has ever stopped fandoms). Mostly it seemed to be moving characters into place so it's not really the most fast-paced of epidsodes. But, I appreciate how it works in the grand scheme of things so I just sat back and enjoyed Heroes for the comic book entertainment that it is.

It's sort of nostalgic for it to be May and to have heroes rushing to prevent an apocalypse (missing that BtVS/AtS good years.)

I thought the giant snowglobe thing was kinda neat until the regular snowglobes started hitting her.

The only thing suprising about Sylar killing his mother is that it seems to have been accidental.

A lot of people are of the opinion that Peter will turn out to be adopted. Maybe he'll turn out to be Sylar's long lost brother.

Thus allowing Peter/Claire? That would be nice. They have good chemistry.

If they do some big reveal about him being adopted , it might not be this season and even after it's revealed they might not find out giving her time to be a more legal age before anything happens between them.

I thought the same thing that this was a getting things pointed in the right direction episode. And as creepy as Sylar is, at least he has the excuse of being completely barkers. Nathan, on the other hand, is a whole other level of creepy, as is Mama Petrelli.

And, yeah, Peter and Claire have great chemistry. I'm firmly keeping my mind out of the gutter with those two. I thought his calling out to her when he started glowing was kind of, um, I don't know - role reversal or something - like she was the protector.

Good ep if not overly exciting.

I was thinking that if Sylar is Season 1's Big Bad, that Nathan needs to be Season 2's Big Bad. (Yeah, I've decided == heh, like I can -- that they need to follow the BtVS/AtS concept of a seasonal Big Bad).

Absolutely. It certainly fits in with the seasonal arc concept. But will it Nathan or Sylar as Nathan? That is the question. *g*

Sorry, I didn't want to post on your journal I wanted to email you-- but I couldn't find your address. I was wondering about your fic Perfect Vengeance- is there anything after Chapter 6 posted anywhere? I was really loving it and then it just stopped :( Plus, is there more of your fic out there? I'd love to read it all.
Thanks

Perfect Vengeance really got stalled when I had to do a project for my sister. I've just started writing it again. I have another chapter finished but it's still being edited. Hopefully I can get some real work done on it next week during my vacation.

I did post another story over Christmas. It can be found here:

And I promise, the last parts of Perfect Vengeance are in the works. Hopefully I'll finish the story up soon and I'll post the remaining parts.

Thanks!
