So after reading some Buffy Season 6 depression meta I began writing Buffy/Mad Men depression meta, but the truth is, it's just too depressing. I'm down enough as it is (I place this to overwork, over stress, and lack of adequate sleep.) I saved what I wrote and will look at it again later. For now, I need some LOL.

I did see that The Hangover was replaying on Starz and that is truly a hilarious movie.

And I'm half-way through To Say Nothing of The Dog and continue giving it a thumbs up. It's been a highly amusing romp thus far. The author clearly owns a cat because she has the cat persona nailed.

Oh, and on the good news front, my insurance company said they'd pay to replace the roof on the house due to hail damage. Yay for that.

ETA: So, while channel surfing, I landed on "The Count of Monte Cristo" and... is that Franklin Mott? Dude, it is totally a young Franklin Mott (and Jesus -- Caviezel version.)

Whenever I am feeling low and in need of decent LOL, I always imagine what it would be like if Spike and Angel were to run an alpaca farm. Oh, the hijinks that would ensue. Surly alpacas, Angel never being able to work the fax machine properly, Spike being chased by said surly alpacas, possessed hippie yarn ladies, surly vampire alpacas. The possibilities are endless. :D

I ran into JF on SyFy last weekend playing a Knights Templar in one of their "made for tv" movies. He looks amazingly younger and better looking although it was a recent film.

Didn't really watch because - yeah, it was made for SyFy "gags".

Sorry you feel low. Work has been stressing me out too lately, and you always think it might get better, and then it doesn't.

Heh. I just saw that movie again recently and yes, that is James Frain. The dude that played Henry VIII's BFF in The Tudors was in it as well.

I caught The Ugly Truth on Starz the other night. It was a bit like The Hangover in that it was full of crude humor and I honestly did find myself laughing out loud even while trying to suspend disbelief. It wasn't as good as The Hangover, but it was good for some laughs.
