Livejournal go boom?

So... is LJ just not working at all? Now it won't even go to the site. Before it would go to the site, but not actually access anything. Now? Nada. It just defaults to whatever I had before.

Has LJ given any explanation?

I just saw that on FB... that really seems to be becoming an issue for them.

Apparently the Russian LJ is quite a platform for dissident political bloggers whom many people would like to see shut down. The rest of the world is just getting caught in the crossfire. :/

It's really annoying that they can bring the site to a grinding halt for days.
