I also did somewhat amusing but with dash of  serious message beneath (The Help)

And I'm in the mood for a romance with an assured happy ending.  So... Jane Austen and re-reading Persuasion.

I'm trying to read Persuasion right now for the first time. I say trying, because I seem to do this weird thing with Austen novels, where it takes me forever to get through them the first time, but after that, I consider them easy reads.
