SMG on AMC...

Okay, that was weird.

So AMC is ending this week. SMG asked to do a guest shot. And... was she playing Buffy? Buf-endal?

Her bit consisted of her being brought into the psyche ward. Eva LaRue (now on one of the proliferation of CSIs (or is it NCIS?) also did a cameo, but since LaRue's character has never been recast, she was still playing Dr. Maria Santos. Anyway, SMG was being taken to the psyche ward where she tells Maria

SMG: "I see vampires. Everywhere."
LaRue: "Uh... well, vampires are very trendy these days."
SMG: "No, I was seeing them before they were trendy."


She followed it up, though with saying "Don't forget to tell them I'm Erica Kane's daughter" (which would be the role she played when she was on AMC. A role that has since been recast.) and getting a glance from Dr. Santos that she's cray-cray.


(It was also the day that Torchwood: Miracle Day's Alexa Havins returned to AMC. Of course her character has both been recast and killed off. So she only arrived as a ghost/vision/dream to her gone off the rails hubby... who isn't getting a happy ending like most other characters).

I know. Stuart seriously needed to be resurrected. Killing him off was a huge, cruel mistake.

I LOLed. I so wanted her to run into Kendall's son Spike though. :-D

Alexa Havin's hubby in real life also returned to the show as Jaime. I think it's possible that Babe is actually still alive. I mean, just because JR was hallucinating, doesn't mean she's really dead. Haha. Cray cray is right.

I think Stuart accounted for all the ones that David said he'd saved. The actor playing J.R. already said his character doesn't get a happy ending. And Prospect Park -- the ones who have bought AMC - demanded a cliffhanger ending to work as a hook if/when/if they ever launch their online version (so far the only one's they've signed are Ryan and the girl playing Cara).

For some reason I thought her guest appearance was the 23rd? Which I'm admittedly taping, just to see how they end the thing.

They really went nuts storyline wise when they found out they were being cancelled. I think AMC went further than OLTL...although, that is hard to judge.
