The Secret Circle
Sep. 22nd, 2011 08:51 pmOkay, so I immediately recognized the girl from "Life UnExpected" in the premiere. And I recognized the guy from the "Sarah Connor Chronicles." But I finally recognized the 'good friend'(ish) character tonight and realize why I immediately distrusted her. She was Days of Our Lives Stephanie Johnson... who should've been a heroine (because it was in the character's DNA) but instead was written as a full-blown psycho.

Good girl is bad, bad girl is good. And well who her Dad is, and the fact that she's the significant other of the unavailable cute guy.)

Oddly, I think Revenge and Secret Circle might be the only two new shows of the new season that are keepers...(I don't know about Ringer quite yet, my gut says it will get canceled like Melrose and Life Unexpected did.)
f he ever gets canned on Y&R, I'd probably lay money on his returning with all the other characters they're bringing back in an effort to beg fans to return to the show (since currently it's rated lower than either AMC or OLTL... and they're both canceled).
He's on Y&R too? That show and B&B seem to be picking up a lot of former GH stars. Genie Francis is on it too or so I've heard.
And so...Days is worried again? It was on the block a few years back and got a last minute stay of execution. People are rallying the troops on the fanboards apparently to save GH and kill the "Spew" (aka The Chew) and some reality show called "Revulsion" which is taking the place of OLTL??? Seriously, it is called Revulsion? Ookay. I wish them luck, but I don't see it changing anything.
Saw the final episode of AMC today...which was sort of weird - they ended it with the teaser that Erica jumped in front of JR's bullet, just after Jack gave Erica the Rhett Butler speech. Felt like an abrupt ending. I liked how ATWT ended better. But I guess since it's allegedly traveling to the internet...the cliff-hanger was necessary.
Ironic. The internet killed the daytime soap, yet is also saving it.
