I'll say it too. I loved Reagan also, I'm also pretty Republican. So sue me. I just think everyone needs an open mind about these things, and not to take things so personally. Jeez, your political affiliation does not make you a bad person. Well, unless you use it to try for World Domination.
Well, honestly, I wasn't living in great fear of being defriended by folks. I had just gotten a bit tired of reading lots of "I couldn't stand him" entries on LJ. My true feeling is that if someone unfriended me over liking Reagan then I probably didn't need such a wuss as a friend anyway. Really, a lot of people think and feel a lot of things. If that's all it takes to unfriend, then they aren't really a friend. :)
