First, last week they were calling SMG "sort of a bitch" (apparently one of the DJs has met her and that was his reaction to her), and this morning they were making fun of the report that she'd been cast as Sabrina the Teenaged Witch. Heh. Love the hate (yes, I still have SMG issues. >:)

Why, yes, she is too old to play (or pass) as a teen. Hence, the mocking (and the good point of "Why in the hell don't they cast Hillary Duff -- you know-- an ACTUAL teen that teens actually watch?) Face it, SMG, you're last decade news to this year's teens.

I don't see why she's continuing in the teen/girl market. What good does it do her to appear on the cover of Elle Girl? Do any tweens watch reruns of Buffy?

I predict she'll be in Lifetime movies within three years.

The really funny thing is, I'm positive I remember reading an interview with her around the end of BtVS about how she wanted to move beyond playing teen roles (with the implication that this desire was part of the reason she was walking away from the Buffy role).

Well, I am not interested in mocking SMG, but I do think it is a particularly stupid role to choose. Pretty shallow after Buffy really.
