*  Last night wasn't my favorite LOST.  Lots of stuff happened, but it rather felt like it primarily served as staging, getting characters into place for the final big show-downs.  Such episodes have their purpose so I'm not complaining.  It's a necessary step in the process.  Characters do need to be shuffled into place, but it's not the greatest of eps.  That saidspoilers )

*  I have some thoughts about some of the BtVS/Protagonist Privilege discussions going on and of how they mix with gender politics, but I don't know that I'll work up the energy to post those thoughts.   It's rather difficult to work up enough interest in the whole thing to say much.  It's just so meh.

* Am reading The Ghost Writer by Robert Harris.  It's been pretty fast-paced and interesting thus far.

* Watched Justified last night and there was some nice, wry funny under a fairly conventional plot.  And -- damn!  Timothy Olyphant can stand half-naked in front of a hotel room door whenever he darn wel pleases.  Damn!
